Un- called for advice by Pakistan

Our rogue neighbor Pakistan gets butterflies in the stomach at the sight of rise of India or being elevated on any world forum. It is undiplomatic way to conduct among group of nations. It has nothing substantial to offer to its subject other than hate India recipe. They are unmindful of the fact that this anti India rhetoric has done no good for the cause of that nation. Still year after year Pakistan continues to chase mirage.

Even before India was poised to assume presidency of United Nations Security Council on 1st August 2021, chill ran down their spine. This event was sufficient for them to hastily press panic button by soliciting unwarranted advice to India, to cover up its sinister designs and divert attention of its people.

On Saturday Pakistani foreign office gave statement saying that- We hope that India after assuming presidency of UNSC would abide by relevant rules and norms governing the global body and implement resolution on Jammu and Kashmir. It further stated that, as India assumes this role, we would also like to once again remind of its obligation to implement the UNSC resolution on Jammu and Kashmir.

India and world community will only get amused by this Pakistani stand, which in all probability will be overlooked. Fact of the matter is, it is Pakistan which has never fulfilled the mandate of resolution dated 13 August, 1948 on Jammu and Kashmir. As stipulated in the resolution, Pakistan was called up on to pull back its troops from occupied region of Jammu and Kashmir. Curiously said resolution did not ask India to withdraw the troops.

Pakistan is upset with world community casting aspersions on its dubious role in Afghanistan and hobnobbing with China to help it get foothold on mineral rich land lock nation. Instead of trying to administer dose of advice to India, that country needs to mend its ways and set the house in order, before harping the Kashmir tune time and again. It has been cold shouldered by majority nations, including Muslim countries.
